BP's US Gulf of Mexico Deepwater Horizon disaster on the Macondo Field has had repercussions around the globe with environmental and conservation organizations as well as opposition politicians and alternative energy proponents all calling for prohibition of anything and everything that seems to have any possible consequence as calamitous as the BP debacle. Reasonable government institutions have undertaken studies of their own deepwater drilling regulations and enforcement and some have established new procedures to lessen the prospect of anything like the Macondo blowout and oil spill occurring within their waters...continue reading

Key crudes lead crude price rebound on strong economic data
